Secret Masters - Concept Development

Secret Masters is an open-air art installation that features video projections of classic Italian paintings from the Uffizi Gallery Collection, selected by The Director of the Museum.

The project brings lesser known masterpieces from the most important Italian art museum to the neighborhoods of Manhattan, with select pop-up installations in the surrounding boroughs. The art installation will feature five video projection every night:  a stationary video projection on the Flat Iron Building and four mobile video projection on customized veichles on different builldings every night.

The installation fosters curiosity and awareness of culture and the arts, with a goal of providing younger generations with an access they would otherwise not normally have. Secret Masters is a gift from Italy to the city of New York.
